My boyfriend and I came in to Rahul's looking for wedding attire. We have been to very few Indian weddings and didn't really know how to navigate the choices. Rahul's was amazing! The service was attentive, patient, and incredibly helpful. Their prices are fair. Their fabrics are very high quality. They seem to have an incredible collection. Of all the Indian wear places I've been to in the NY area, Rahul's seems to the best.

My husband's family is local to the area since 2001 and we love this store, we got married this year and got matching outfits for our sangeet, ceremony and reception. High quality fabric with colors that show true in pictures, I love the attention to detail, every button and tassel matches beautifully. Rahul was very helpful every step of the way in all our purchases. It's hands down our favorite Indian clothing store in the jackson heights area.

I am not Indian and went to Rahul's to get several outfits for my coworker's wedding in India. It was my first time ever purchasing such attire and I have to say that the customer service exceeded my expectations. Rahul was very polite, patient and understood my tastes quite quickly. I needed the outfits on short notice and he even managed to pull off the requested alterations in advance of the agreed upon time. I didn't fully check my package when I picked up my garments and there were several items which were not included. Rahul called me as soon as he realized the mistake and then threw in additional items to make up for the error. While in India, I received sooooo many compliments on my attire. I highly recommend Rahul's.

Excellent customer service!! Rahul knows exactly what he's doing and he helped me find the perfect outfit for my friend's wedding. He is very patient and very attentive to his customers. He is not pushy and doesn't force you into buying or settling for something if you're not happy. The store has so much variety and beautiful excellent quality clothes and jewelry. Huge perk is that you can also have the outfits tailored to fit your body type (no one else offers this). Once I found my outfit the tailor came over and took my measurements and the outfit was ready to pick up by the end of the week! Had to buy a dress for a wedding that I was attending as a guest, and I absolutely fell in love with the one I found at Rahul's! It was so elegant and I got so many compliments on my dress from a lot of the other guests! It is extremely well stitched and the material was to die for! Also, it had to be altered a little so he measured me and his tailor fixed the dress in 1 week! It fit perfectly! Would highly recommend! Also, he also told me that if I showed him a dress that I liked online, he could imitate it exactly for me; I will be using his services in the future!! Thanks Rahul!

Rahul is amazing! His collection of clothes is amazing and I immediately wanted so many outfits! I tried on one beautiful lengha and was so distracted I left my ID card, home keys, metro pass, all in the fitting room. Rahul was so sweet and caring and came back to the store almost an hour after closing to make sure I was able to get it back the same night. I was so impressed with how he cares for his customers (and I hadn't purchased anything yet). Finally, He is very thoughtful about his collection, I was so impressed with the selection at his store and can't wait to come back!!! The quality of the material and embroidery is the best you'll find!

Being someone who has never thought much of weddings or outfits I didn't hesitate to purchase my wedding lengha through pictures from India. I did not regret my choice until I went with my bridal party to Rahul couture. I walked into a different world surrounded by one of a kind outfits at amazing prices and when I thought It couldn't get any better I met Rahul. He was beyond amazing with each of my family members and they all found something perfect. Moms being moms always knowing what you need before you do convinced me (not much convincing was needed) to try on a few. Long story short I looked like a princess, cried (I didn't know I was a softie) and said yes to the dress!!! Thank you Rahul for giving my family, friends and I a priceless experience.

TL;DR: Wonderful experience. Highly recommend. I purchased a lehenga and a saree -- both are absolutely beautiful, high-quality pieces, and Bristi was very helpful in providing suggestions and guidance. Their in-house tailor is incredibly skilled, taking in a lehenga that is very heavily embroidered and creating a blouse and pre-stitched saree. When I came to pick everything up, he stayed late, going back and forth from his workroom and making minor adjustments on the spot. Rahul also stayed past closing to make sure everything fit properly, teach me how to wrap my saree, and wrap up both outfits so they would stay neat after a long flight. I really couldn't ask for better customer service.

I have been to other stores in the area and nothing compares to Rahul's Couture. When you walk in, it feels like a completely different world. The interior is grand and you instantly know you can relax because everything will be taken care of from this point onwards. There is a variety of outfits to choose from, in multiple sizes, and Rahul will do whatever it takes for you to have the outfit you want and at the time you need it. Alterations have a quick turnaround and I have never had any issues with my outfits. Rahul has been a tremendous support in our chaotic wedding preparations and I highly recommend this place. Being a bride in the midst of covid-19 is not easy. It was nerve wracking and super challenging awaiting my custom lehenga to arrive from India (considering the hurdles of quarantine lockdown and delays with international deliveries), however, Rahul went above and beyond to push and ensure that my outfit arrived in time for my big day without comprising what was promised. To top that, my custom lehenga met my high expectations - super stunning quality! I also had challenges finding the perfect matching bridal accessories under time crunch (and had a terrible experience shopping at a neighboring store on the avenue strip). Once I shared my dilemma with Rahul he patiently and respectfully helped me to find the perfect jewelry set and was mindful of my sense of style.
